Akira Toriyama Has Passed Away

Akira Toriyama, famed creator of Dragon Ball who also created numerous character designs for games including Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest, and many others, has passed away.  He passed away on March 1st, but the news broke late on March 7th.

His legacy and impact on media cannot be understated. Some of the franchises that his work influenced include One Piece, Naruto, and Sonic the Hedgehog to name a few. His style, penchant for action, storytelling, and themes are the things of legend.

He will be missed immensely.
