Rosemary Drescher

Rosemary Drescher is an Australian/British poet who was born in Sydney, grew up in Tarawa (Republic of Kiribati), Fiji and the UK and lived for over 20 years in Germany. Her exposure to different languages in childhood, at school and university shaped her love of poetry. Since the 1990s she has published a body of work in journals, anthologies and online, and has read at events and festivals. She now lives in Northwest England since retiring from biomedical research administration and is embracing her vocation as a poet and rep for the Lancaster (UK) Stanza, as well as becoming a grandmother to two lively boys.
