On Thursday, May 20th, Moorpark College held a Drive-Thru Commencement event for the class of 2021. The event was held in the upper parking lot at the College, and as graduates entered the parking lot, they were greeted by rows of faculty and volunteers, on either side, waving signs and congratulating them. Over 2,000 students were a part of the 2021 graduating class. For the graduates and their families that chose to do so, there were numerous photo backdrops with ‘Class of 2021’ written across them to take photos in front of.

Since Moorpark College opened its doors in 1967, they have helped students from a diverse range of backgrounds, ethnicities, and ages, discover their passions and career goals. As one of three colleges in the Ventura County Community College District, they work hard to meet the educational and cultural needs of their student community and the community as a whole.
When you visit Moorpark College, you’ll see their vibrant campus, where you can enjoy a high-quality education at an affordable cost. They also have many student clubs and events to enrich their community college experience.
For the Fall semester of 2021, the College plans to allow 50% of students to take in-person classes. For the Fall, Moorpark College plans to offer remote classes, hybrid classes (in-person/remote), and in-person classes.
As the world returns to normal, the number of events the College plans to hold will only increase, and hopefully, in the not-too-distant future, things will be back to normal.
