Question
“I met this guy recently and I thought we really hit it off. We met at a party, and while we were there, we probably talked for three hours. He was really nice, we exchanged numbers, and we’ve been talking since then. He’s asked me out twice since then, and I’ve said yes, but when it comes to the days when we’re supposed to meet, he cancels. He just canceled, and even though the excuse is a real thing (I think), the fact of the matter is that he canceled again. In his last text, he said that he wanted to reschedule.
I don’t know what to know. I like this guy and I felt like we had chemistry, but he keeps flaking out. Should I give him one more chance?

Dear Stood up Sammy,
Anything could be at play here. He could be busy with work, or busy juggling other girls. One thing for sure, he’s clearly not that into you, Think what it’s like when you are excited about seeing someone, of course you MAKE TIME. He’s clearly not excited. If it were me I’d give him a test. If he asks again to meet, be busy, and vague, no specific reasons, just can’t make it. See if he keeps trying. Don’t respond too quickly. If he keeps trying after at least two shrugging off sessions it might be worth a go, if not move on.
Think positive but don’t be silly. Is what it is.
Good luck
